Giuseppe & Rodrigo are two friends who want to share the fun and passion they experience playing acoustic blues.

Giuseppe & Rodrigo started playing music together in late 2018 after meeting on the St. Louis jam circuit, but they've each been in love with the blues for years. Since then they have been bringing their passion and energy to various venues across St. Louis and the greater metro area, and competed in the 2019 STL Road to Memphis Competition. Giuseppe & Rodrigo's first single "Go Back To Bed" is featured on the St. Louis Blues Society's 19 in 19 compilation album, and the duo was selected to perform as part of the Gaslight Studio Songwriter Showcase. Their debut album "Met At The Mississippi was released in August of 2020 with a broadcast celebration live from the National Blues Museum. Since it's release it has been enjoying radio airplay locally and internationally. To quote Blues Blast Magazine's review: "This is the kind of music people played on their front porches."

When playing live, Giuseppe & Rodrigo bring a fire and energy to the stage which reflects how much fun they have playing. Their music consists of new takes on blues standards, American traditionals, and original compositions reflecting their roots in Delta, Piedmont, Hill Country, and Chicago blues. Interspersed between songs, the duo shares stories of the blues greats, the history of traditional songs, and explanations of the various blues styles. Audience members often comment, about how much they enjoy these educational tid-bits!
